Job Description
This position a critical role our Global Delivery Centre based out of the Amdocs Pune office. This role sits in the Cloud Business Unit of Amdocs and is pivotal to driving delivery for our customers across the globe. This role will provide data governance and engineering support in various data analytics projects within enterprise highly regulated client environments. This role will assist the leadership in both analysing and formulating the business problems as well as identifying and developing the end-to-end analytics solution. The right candidate will be one excited by opportunities to apply advanced analytics techniques to help our clients get insights from their data using public cloud.

What you’ll be responsible for

- Developing, testing and refining AI-generated text prompts
- Collaborating with content, product and data teams to align prompts with company goals and user needs
- Continuously improving prompt quality, performance and the overall AI prompt generation process
- Collaborating with data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop and improve AI models
- Conducting research on natural language processing and machine learning techniques to enhance prompt generation
- Analyzing user feedback and data to identify areas for improvement in prompt quality and performance
- Developing and maintaining documentation for prompt generation processes and best practices
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and natural language processing, and how these might be applied with our customers on various use cases.
- Design and deliver cutting-edge AI systems to solve some of our clients’ most challenging business problems
- Deliver production-grade, mature AI/ML solutions for our clients at scale, built with automated, repeatable processes
- Take ownership of and drive key architecture decisions around the AI/ML lifecycle (build, test, deploy, and monitor)
- Utilize best-of-breed practices, tools, and cloud solutions
What you will bring to the role.

- More than 3 years of professional experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proven work experience as a Prompt Engineer or similar role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in programming languages, AI-related tools such as ChatGPT, and data analysis techniques
- Comprehensive understanding of natural language processing, machine learning and AI-generated content development
- Relevant training and/or certifications in computer science, AI or a related field
- Experience using large language models, Langchain, vector databases, and cloud AI services to architect AI solutions (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform, Azure ML)
- Expertise in prompt engineering, agentic frameworks, and retrieval augmented generation
- Relevant work experience in software development using Python
- Experience with open-source modeling frameworks (ex. TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including data engineers and data scientists to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Contributions to open-source projects
