Job Description

HRT is looking for an experienced technical recruiting manager to join our team in New York. This role will be responsible for leading the team that hires experienced engineers across HRT. We’re looking for a player-coach who can drive strategy and develop a team, while leading through example in hands-on sourcing and full-lifecycle recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small global team of experienced technical recruiters
  • Oversee a portfolio of reqs across various orgs, and directly recruit on specific roles
  • Partner with technical leaders across HRT to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies
  • Drive proactive sourcing efforts, building and maintaining an understanding of industry and talent trends
  • Initiate creative and scalable changes to our existing recruiting strategy, with a focus on candidate and hiring team experience
  • Create strategic plans for building relationships and pathways for candidates with diverse backgrounds
  • Use key recruiting metrics to drive and adapt strategy, while balancing for nuance
  • Act as a leader within the broader recruiting team by contributing to overall strategy, process improvements, and team culture
  • Collaborate effectively with partner teams (Recruiting sub-teams, RecOps, People Partners, HR Ops, Legal)

Qualifications

  • 7+ years full-cycle recruiting experience (in tech, quant, or fintech), with a solid understanding of best practices in sourcing, candidate engagement, and stakeholder management
  • Leadership skills - experience providing direction, feedback, and growth for recruiters, and an ability to manage a distributed team
  • Experience working closely with technical leaders, with an ability to translate business priorities into a talent strategy
  • A demonstrable passion for delivering an outstanding candidate experience, with a focus on high-touch candidates
  • Proven experience developing creative sourcing and talent engagement strategies
  • Positive and team-oriented attitude (sense of humor is always appreciated!)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of friendliness and professionalism

Annual base salary range of $150,000 to $250,000. Pay (base and bonus) may vary depending on job-related skills and experience. A sign-on and discretionary performance bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package, in addition to company-paid medical and/or other benefits.
