Job Description

Boomi partners with leading technology companies to enable innovation and rich solutions for mutual customers.  The role of the Alliance Manager, Technology Alliances is to deliver business value for customers, Boomi, and partners  This is accomplished through developing and managing a portfolio of software alliances, acting as a regional SME for global strategic ecosystems, and collaborating with Sales within the region to grow business with targeted partners.

Location - Bangalore

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of partnership strategies and business plans
  • Structure, negotiate, and execute the appropriate partnership model and contractual terms
  • Execute against strategy and business plan, develop cadence with partner counterparts, and measure/report performance for key Boomi and partner stakeholders
  • Develop impactful relationships within the partner's organization including Alliances and/or Business Development, Product, Marketing, and Sales functions
  • Drive efforts to identify customer use cases and define joint solutions for targeted business outcomes and in support of the partnership strategy and business plan
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Boomi leaders on strategy and execution
  • Align with colleagues to support joint strategies for common partners and prospects
  • Initiate sales enablement activities, such as internal/external communications, sales training, go-to-market planning, and field engagement
  • Continuously assess performance metrics and outcomes to nurture growth and optimize innovation, adoption, and revenue
  • Serve as primary liaison and advocate for partnerships

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in the software industry
  • 3+ years in business development or alliance management
  • Self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and operating in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • A team player with a proven ability to collaborate and work across all levels and functional areas of the organization
  • Equally comfortable speaking with a Product Manager, CxO, or Account Executive
  • Strategic thinker and results-driven with strong analytical competencies and a willingness to dig into the details
  • An ability to identify and champion win-win scenarios, internally and with partners
  • A capacity to clearly communicate and present information to colleagues as well as Boomi leaders
  • Technical aptitude/acumen in order to collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders
  • Substantial experience working for and/or with US-based companies
  • Willing to work an EMEA schedule to ensure some overlap with US hours
  • Estimated 20% travel, included but not limited to partner meetings, customer meetings, and conferences

Preferences:

 

  • Background in technology alliances and ISVs
  • Experience working with or developing partners through tech partner programs
  • Experience delivering comprehensive Go-to-Market plans
  • Experience leading global partnerships
  • Experience operating from within a Product organization
  • Integration software experience desired, but not required
