APAC Commercial Senior Director - Inside sales management
Boomi is seeking an APAC Commercial Sales Senior Director who is responsible for all Commercial Sales Activities in Asia Pacific. Specifically, the incumbent will be focused on driving revenue through the identification, development, and closure of sales opportunities to new and existing customers. In addition to leading a team of Commercial Account Executives, a key aspect of this role will be cross functional collaboration with the Sales Development Representatives, Field Marketing Managers, and the Alliances organization. The APAC Commercial Sales Senior Director will also assume overall coordination and alignment across APAC with the other regional leaders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a Tier 1 Commercial Sales organization within a fast growing software business.
- Set strategic goals and tactical objectives and manage execution to completion and results.
- Successfully create alignment between sales, marketing and alliances and influence across a multi-culture, matrixed organization.
- Lead the Commercial Sales team members to execute on outbound sales plays to help to achieve that portion of the team’s quota that must come from sources other than Marketing and Alliances.
- Identify gaps and strategic opportunities and work with business partners on plans to increase market share and drive profitable growth
- Regularly communicate with the APAC Enterprise Sales Leadership and Alliances Leaders to prioritize activities that efficiently deliver business unit growth
- Create and support a culture of active learning, conduct and facilitate training, ensuring employees are positioned for success in the job.
- Build and lead the culture for the APAC Commercial team - Including modeling strong leadership, communication and relationship building with the regions.
- Identify potential candidates for employment, interview and choose top talent for the team.
Education & Background Experience:
- 10 years of experience in Leading a Tier 1 Sales Organization; preferably with technical or software companies, with proven track record of facilitating pipeline growth of greater than 40% YOY
- Proven ability to achieve/exceed pipeline targets and quotas
- Excellent written and oral communication and listening skills required and an ability to collaborate
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship building skills
- Must be comfortable speaking with high level decision makers
- Excellent time management, multitasking and organizational skills required
- Able to combine strategic development and planning with hands on approach
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative to get things done
- Strong leadership; ability to lead a team and get results through others
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines as a decision maker
