How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Principal Product Designer, you’ll influence our organization and the user experience of our platform as a Design Lead embedded in one of our product teams. We’re seeking a highly-experienced, T-shaped generalist to join our growing UX practice and evolve the product design discipline. If you are a research-driven Interaction Designer with strong verbal and visual communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented spirit—let’s talk. We are a fluid, collaborative, cross-functional team.

What You’ll Do

  • Run design thinking workshops to bring clarity to the problem and alignment on the design vision for new areas of services that Boomi intends to expand into.
  • Collaborate and communicate across teams and roles; set clear expectations and guidance for the designers supporting your efforts; and effectively managing “up”
  • Design with consistency, attention to detail, and with a knowledge of inclusivity and accessibility
  • Exhibit familiarity with qualitative research methods and knowing how to incorporate research findings into designs
  • Contribute to our Design System, UI guidelines, and their maintenance, including ownership of the stewardship and communication of patterns to product teams
  • Think both conceptually and pragmatically about product strategy to ensure that Boomi remains an industry leader

The Experience You Bring

  • Professional experience in the design of complex business systems and applications,  

or product development, with some experience leading those efforts

  • Exceptional verbal and visual communication skills, along with presentation and negotiation skills
  • A ‘niche’ area of strength, e.g., technical abilities, familiarity with HTML and CSS, conceptual design abilities, visual design, design systems, or content strategy
  • A top notch & complete portfolio that illustrates your sense of color and design; You also understand how to use scale and contrast, balance and hierarchy across the design.
  • Exhibit familiarity with qualitative research methods like competitive analysis, heuristic evaluation, prototype testing and knowing how to incorporate research findings into designs
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in graphic design, visual arts, or similar.
  • 7+ years of experience as a product designer, problem solver or similar.

  • Be the market data expert and own all aspects of compensation data and analysis throughout the full employee life cycle including data reporting, updates and audits
  • Conduct and manage compensation benchmarking and survey participation in conjunction with compensation leadership to support competitive analysis of compensation programs within the industry.
  • Support People Partners on compensation related issues and work closely with Recruiting in the offer process
  • Develop and manage compensation communication materials
  • Work closely with Finance professionals to manage compensation budgets throughout the year
  • Partner with Compensation leadership to challenge existing processes and tools to ensure continuous improvement
  • Support various compensation projects from planning and implementation to execution. Projects include, but are not limited to, job architecture redesign, salary analysis, creation of salary structure and reorganizations.
  • Partner with internal teams (People Business Partners, People Operations, finance leads and clients) and external consultants to continuously improve processes and to develop a deep understanding of job responsibilities for evaluation of pay level, external market benchmarks and internal equity to influence pay decisions on offers, pay adjustments and promotions. Streamline the job evaluation process and ensure a consistent approach.
  • Support the People Business Partners and People Operations in performing the annual merit review process and pay equity analysis
  • Support the compensation review process
  • Develop and iterate data analytics and ad hoc reporting on People and Compensation data
  • Other duties as needed based on departmental and/or organizational needs.

About the Role  

As a Starburst Data Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our SEP (Starburst Enterprise Platform) and Galaxy customers that submit break/fix and other technical inquiries. About the Role

The Technical Support Engineer (TSE) acts as a Starburst SME for a book of Majors and Strategic accounts. About the role  

As a Senior Software Engineer on the fully distributed Starburst Galaxy Reliability, Scalability, & Efficiency team, you’ll own the reliability, scalability and efficiency (performance/$) of Starburst Galaxy IaaS/SaaS as we grow. About the role  

As a Starburst Data Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our SEP (Starburst Enterprise Platform) and Galaxy customers that submit break/fix and other technical inquiries. You will work on a wide range of support matters including but not limited to configuration, security, integration, and cluster issues to ensure our customers can maximize their experience with Starburst products. About the role

About the role  

The Payroll Manager will lead the US and International payroll processes for Starburst.  You will partner with the VP-Finance & Accounting, Accounting Team, HR, and international payroll providers to ensure Starburst processes payroll in a timely manner and has strong controls and processes related to the payroll function.As a Payroll Manager at Starburst you will: - Process semi-monthly payrolls for the US and Canada.

  • Process monthly payrolls for the UK, Germany, France, Poland, Singapore, India, Israel, and any entities that are added in the future.

About the role  

As the first Federal Solutions Architect you will have the exciting opportunity to build our presence and be a founding member of the Federal team. You will be responsible for the successful customer adoption of our products within the federal space. You will be required to grow, build, and ramp future federal Solutions Architects. The Role

------------

As a Backend Engineer for Linktree’s Data and Machine Learning team, you’ll be responsible for building scalable, performant backend systems that support our data and ML capabilities. These systems will unlock impactful new opportunities for our tens of millions of users and our billions of visitors around the world. Most of all, they’ll help Linktree achieve our mission: To empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe.

You’ll also help us test new ideas quickly, by working in lean, build-measure-learn cycles. You’ll develop rapid prototypes, test them on real users, and iterate based on learnings and user-feedback.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team of ML engineers, backend engineers and data engineers, fostering cross-discipline collaborations to achieve impressive results. You’ll work across a broad range of ML and AI technologies, including natural language processing, computer vision and recommender systems.

You’ll work in London, with 3 days per week from our office and 2 days per week from home.

What You’ll Own

  • You’ll design, implement, test and scale high-performance backend systems that support our ML and AI capabilities;
  • You’ll collaborate with other cross-functional teams to integrate these solutions into our core products;
  • You’ll participate in lean, fast-paced sprints, quickly prototyping and testing back-end solutions to innovate and iterate at speed;
  • You’ll maintain and optimise system performance, ensuring our backend infrastructure is robust, scalable and performant;

Who We’re Looking For

  • You have at least 4 years of relevant experience as a Backend Engineer in a high-growth technology company;
  • You have hands-on experience of delivering complex, technical projects in this space;
  • You have deep expertise in backend technologies, with a strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms;
  • You have experience building data pipelines and working with offline data processing technologies;
  • You have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or a related discipline (a Master’s Degree or PhD is a bonus);
  • You have clear experience of shipping software AND driving business impact;
  • You thrive in an fast-paced, agile product development environment;
  • You have experience using “build-measure-learn” cycles to ship quickly, iterate and derive powerful insights;
  • You can work from our London office 3 days per week.

The Role

We are looking for Staff backend software engineers who are great problem solvers, enjoy collaborating with others (not just engineers) that value well-written and tested code. As an engineer at Linktree, you’ll be working together with various members and teams to achieve your goals. As a member of the Commerce team, you will be working on a 0 to 1 social commerce product for Linktree. You'll be joining at an early stage of product development, where you get to own, shape, and ultimately build the product. We're a start-up within a start-up. 

What You’ll Own

  • Build products that directly help Linkers earn a living.
  • Make technical decisions working backwards from a desired outcome and you take pride in building simple solutions to achieve that goal.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to build the services and infrastructure that power core commerce experiences (product management, transaction tracking, managing payments to creators, integrating with third party merchant stores).
  • Improve operational efficiency by shipping infra that optimizes performance, reliability and efficiency

Who We’re Looking For

  • Someone with experience leading product teams in early product development and who both loves designing durable, extensible systems while also feeling comfortable building a first version quickly to validate then iterate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent and 8+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • Experience building modern backend services that power web and mobile front ends, and manage the cloud infrastructure that powers your services.
  • Experience with our core service stack (Typescript, Node.js and PostgreSQL, GraphQL). A plus is experience with the rest of our stack: AWS (S3, EventBridge, SQS, Lambdas, ECS, CDK), PHP, Snowflake for our data warehouse.
  • Experience building e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Experience working with industry-wide payment facilitator services (Stripe, Paypal) and building systems for payment tracking is a plus.

Linktree is committed to providing a competitive compensation package. Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $175,000-$225,000 in the San Francisco Bay or Los Angeles area. The Role

  • Ensure that components are functional, elegant, performant, and mobile-friendly
  • Understand when and how to run UI tests
  • Collaborate with, inspire and motivate a global squad of designers, PMs and engineers across North America and Australia to enable effective execution towards ambitious outcomes.
  • You will work in cross-functional teams, where you will have real ownership over a problem end to end.

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technical field, or equivalent experience 6+ years of software development, and 3+ years of React experience
  • An appreciation for maintaining core applications, their development and upkeep
  • Understand how to balance and advocate for quality in the face of fast moving product delivery cycles
  • Comfortable to design and build full stack solutions to drive a north star vision for the frontend
  • Prior experience working with component libraries or design teams in user-facing applications
  • Deep understanding of front-end architecture and data-driven development
  • Interested in moving microservices and microfrontends
